The Aztecs believed in their own religion called Mesoamericans which was known as its notorious human sacrifice. They believed in three kinds of Gods, the Gods of Paternalism, the mother-earth Gods and the Gods of War & sacrifice. Their human sacrifice was needed to fulfill the Gods' needs. Their belief in the spiritual world is related to Mesoamerican cosmology.
